Hi my name is Lorena. My husband Sheen was diagnosed with stage 1 stomach cancer back in January 2025. He fought a whole year where they later realized chemo was no longer working, and future treatments had a low chance of treating his now stage 4 cancer. After being in the hospital the beginning of this year, we found out he has a bowel obstruction, complicating things even more. The doctors advised him that he fought long enough and it is now time to live comfortably among myself, our 4 year old son, family and friends. He was then discharged on January 21st, where he is now in hospice. I have now become his caregiver along with the help of family. Trying to work while caring for him, as well as our son has become difficult. I'm hoping to take time off work, so I can spend the last months I have with my husband here. This is the reason I am asking for some help, any amount I would be truly grateful. I would love to be home and make more memories together with the time we have.
