Hi everyone—my name is Michael Bowers, and I’m fundraising for my dog Loki, who has been my family, my best friend, and honestly my son for the past 15 years.
Recently, Loki was diagnosed with bladder/urethra cancer (urothelial carcinoma, also called transitional cell carcinoma / TCC). He’s on medication and still fighting, but the reality is this has been hard on his little body.
On top of that, in his weakened state, Loki hurt his leg and now needs tests and X-rays to figure out what’s going on and how to treat it. Between the cancer care, medications, follow-ups, and now the leg injury, we’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and give him the best shot at more good time together.
What your support helps cover
Your donation will go directly toward Loki’s medical needs, including:
Diagnostics & imaging (exam, X-rays, lab work)
Cancer-related care (medications and follow-up visits)
Pain management / comfort care
Any additional treatment recommended by the vet to keep him stable and supported
No amount is too small. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you think.
Loki has given me 15 years of loyalty, love, and comfort. I’m trying to show up for him the way he’s always shown up for me. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us keep fighting.
With love,
Michael Bowers
