Hi, my name is Logan Coulson. I am sixteen years old and am currently a Life Scout in Troop 787. To date, I have 28 merit badges, and I am currently working on my last Eagle-required merit badge, which is Citizenship in the Community. I have served many leadership roles in my troop, including Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Patrol Leader. I am National Youth Leadership Trained, and I also have completed 39 nights of camping, 65 backpacking miles, and 78 hiking miles, including my hikes to summit Mount Whitney (20 miler), Saddleback Mountain (20 miler), and Half Dome.

My project entails building a Gaga Ball Pit for Oso Grande Elementary School, which is located in my community where I have lived for 12 wonderful years. My first time playing Gaga Ball was during my 5th-grade year of elementary school at science camp, and I have enjoyed playing the game at various summer camps ever since. If you're wondering what Gaga Ball is, it is a fast-paced, high-energy game played in a small octagonal pit where players use their hands to hit a ball at each other below the knees to eliminate opponents. The game begins with all players touching the wall, and the ball is bounced in the center to signal the start. It combines the elements of dodgeball and agility, making it a great game for kids as it is fun, inclusive, and easy to learn.
