In just one month, Loco Bloco will take 14 dedicated young people of color on a Youth Cultural X-Change to Hawaiʻi Island.

Hosted by HŌʻĀ, a Native Hawaiian-led network committed to the protection and revitalization of Hawaiian culture and lands, participants will engage in meaningful cultural exchange with Native Hawaiian youth, leaders, and practitioners through music, dance, storytelling, and land-based learning.

This is not a sightseeing trip—it is a transformative leadership experience. For many of these young people, it will be their first time traveling outside of California. They will return with new skills, deeper cultural understanding, and a stronger sense of purpose as artists, performers, and community leaders.

Since the beginning of 2026, our youth participants, their families, Loco Bloco staff, and advisory board members have worked tirelessly to raise the funds needed to make this journey possible. Together, we have come remarkably close to our goal.

Now, with departure just weeks away, we need your help to raise the final $5,000 needed to cover airfare, lodging, transportation, and meals for every participant.
