There is a group of kids in my neighborhood who spend their days hanging around a local grocery store. They aren’t there by choice—they’re there because they’re hungry and don’t have much support at home. One day, I saw them being caught for stealing, but instead of taking junk food, they had chosen ingredients to cook real meals. That’s when I knew they were truly in need, not just acting out.

These kids are young and full of potential, but without present parents or guidance, they’re left to fend for themselves. Our neighborhood can be a dangerous place, and I worry about what could happen if they don’t get the help they deserve. I’ve been keeping in contact with them, making sure they have something to eat and someone to talk to. My hope is to keep them out of the streets and show them that someone cares about their future.

With your support, I want to provide food, clothing, and safe activities for these kids. I want to be a light in their lives and give them the tools they need to thrive. If this all works out, I would even love to look into adopting some of them to give them a real home.
