With the go ahead from a family member we are here to ask for the communities help, including prayers for this family. Carroll and Rena Jandreau of Fort Kent are very well known throughout the community, as we all know the kind hearts they have and their willingness to help others surrounding them. Yesterday, November 30th the Fort Kent Fire dept. including over 3 dozen firefighters from 5 other local towns responded and fought a house fire in hopes of saving the home of a local family. The two were thankfully lucky enough to escape the fire. Unfortunately, they did not have insurance and they lost everything they had, three cats, and their home. Rena this morning was brought to the local ER with chest pains and is headed to Bangor tomorrow for a heart catheter.
