**March Update**- We have helped over 400 families with rent and have done over 1000 grocery trips to help feed our neighbors (over 400 grocery trips in just the last month alone).

In March we have an exciting opportunity to do even more! The Wilson Foundation has given us a matching grant that will double all of the donations that we receive in the next few weeks up to $500,000. Every dollar you give to keep our neighbors in their homes will go twice as far for our community! Please give and share this fundraiser with your networks!

*February Update* - To date we have given out over 300,000 in assistance for rent and food to families in our community. Because of the constant ice presence and hundreds of abductions in our city, including 8 children from our schools, many have gone months without leaving their homes or being able to work. The devastation on our local economy, small businesses, and families is exponentially growing. We currently have over 1 million dollars in aid requests and we know those numbers will continue to increase. We couldn't possibly begin to meet this need without your help. Families in our neighborhood are being impacted by the raids happening in our community. Kids in our schools have lost parents, and families are trying to pay rent and buy food and get transportation while missing their main income earner because they were taken.

Columbia Heights is a generous community that takes care of each other. This fundraiser will be used to support families who reach out to our local schools, churches, and community organizations looking for help after a parent is detained, and donations will be distributed directly to the families in need.
