Support Local 416: First Responder Peer Support
Donation protected
As local paramedics, EMTs, and firefighters, we have noticed an increasing lack of peer support, mental health resources, and access to assets tailored to the jobs we perform. We all love our jobs, but some days it is grueling and hard. We remember our losses, celebrate our wins, and take it all home at the end of the day.
The Local 416 Indianapolis Professional Union is a non-profit organization created to represent and protect our local first responders. We are working to build our own peer support systems for the first responders of our city. We want to provide resources for our city’s first responders to help them navigate the things we all go through and experience on the job. The L416, along with providers from Indianapolis EMS and Indianapolis Fire Department, are putting on an event to help bring fellow first responders and the community together for a night of food, drinks, and connections. Any funds raised during this event will go to the L416 and our peer support systems we are building. We hope this is an opportunity for you to meet your local first responders, hear more about our daily activities, and help us raise funds for this project.
If you would like to donate to help us fund this project, we are grateful and thankful for anything provided. We look forward to seeing you all in October for our event!
