We’re raising funds to help our dear friends on Little Grand Cay, Bahamas, complete the construction of their church — a sacred space that will also serve as the island’s new hurricane shelter.
After the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian in 2019, it’s become clear just how critical it is for this tight-knit island community to have a safe, secure place to gather, worship, and seek refuge when storms come.
The structure is already underway, but they need our support to cross the finish line. Your generous donation will go directly toward:
Stucco and exterior finishing
Flooring installation
Interior and exterior paint
Church seating and furnishings
Backup generator and fuel tank
Any remaining materials needed for safety and usability
This is more than just a building — it’s a place of hope, resilience, and protection for a community that has endured so much.
Every dollar brings them one step closer to completing a place that will serve both as a spiritual home and a life-saving shelter for generations to come.
Thank you for helping us support the people of Little Grand Cay.
Cory Hanlon, Gerry Arsenault, Jason Cromwell, Bill Paty, and Bob Bell.
