My fiancé's mother, Lisa Hernandez, was detained by ICE on April 29th, 2025. She was in her home on her day off work when ICE showed up at 6 a.m. looking for someone else who didn’t live there. They did not have a warrant and told her they didn’t need one and threatened to break her door down. She now is being held in the second jail in two days and they have been very stubborn with giving us information. Lisa has been in the USA since she was a newborn baby. They’re trying to send her to a country she has never been to since she was born. She went to high school here and worked two jobs. She pays taxes and does everything any other American does. She has two children. One is a minor still in high school and needs her mother. She has two grandbabies that miss their grandma so very much, and many family members and friends that want her home safely. We have contacted a lawyer, and just to start out, his fee is $3,400.
