Hi everyone! My name is Kim and I am establishing this Go Fund Me for my wonderful sister, Lisa Davey, who is also known as Mrs. Davey to the many students she has taught. Lisa was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and started chemotherapy this week. After approximately 20 weeks of chemo, Lisa will undergo surgery. The out of pocket expenses are expected to run well in excess of $10,000.

Lisa is a dedicated teacher and has enriched many lives over her 30 years of teaching. Even during this trying time, one of her primary concerns is whether she will be able to return to teaching this fall.

Lisa has been married to her husband Dan for 35 years. Lisa and Dan have 2 beautiful daughters and 3 grandchildren who have been very supportive of her.
