It is with deep, unfathomable sadness that we share devastating news about our mother, Linzy. Which is why this next part feels unbearable to say:


Our mom has cancer.

Those four words are among the hardest we’ve ever had to say. A word as beautiful as “Mom” should never have to share a sentence with “Cancer.”

Linzy has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. We recently learned that the cancer has spread to multiple areas, which will need to be addressed with radiation before she can begin chemotherapy.

This is something we never imagined we would have to do, a journey we never thought we would have to navigate. Yet, we stand strong in our faith and in our belief that she will continue to shine as a beacon of positivity, understanding, compassion, joy, adventure, and most importantly, LOVE.

As we face this new reality, our focus remains on surrounding her with love, comfort, and the care she needs to heal.

We’re asking for help to ease the financial challenges that come with this journey. None of this will be easy, but if we can lessen even a small part of the financial burden, it will allow us to focus our energy where it matters most, helping our mom heal.
