“New Hope in the Ruins of Gaza”
In Gaza, where children’s dreams intersect with a harsh reality of destruction and loss, an organization with a great humanitarian mission has emerged. We are a group of volunteers who realize that education is the most powerful weapon we can use in the battle of life. Here in UNRWA shelters, we work tirelessly to provide children who have lost their homes and loved ones with a new chance for a new beginning.
Every day, we open the doors of classrooms under temporary roofs, to educate children who have known nothing but pain and loss. We teach them math, language, and arts, and we work to rebuild their self-confidence. But education alone is not enough; these children need additional support to face the daily challenges imposed by the war.
As winter approaches, fear grows in our hearts. Many families still live in difficult conditions, without shelter to protect them from the bitter cold. Therefore, we also work to provide tents and basic supplies for families who lack the most basic means of living. When a tent is their roof, we know that our role becomes even more important.
Through our “New Hope in the Ruins of Gaza” campaign, we invite you to join us on this humanitarian journey.
