Help Me Attend the Washington Journalism & Media Conference

I’ve been nominated to attend the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC), a prestigious, week-long summer program held at George Mason University in Washington, D.C. WJMC brings together high school students from across the country who share a passion for journalism, media, and communications.

This incredible opportunity would allow me to:

-Learn directly from leading journalists, media executives, and professionals in the field.

-Experience real-world journalism environments and develop my skills.

-Connect with other students who share my passion for storytelling and media.

Recently, I’ve discovered my love for broadcasting and political journalism. I enjoy writing stories about current events and politics, and I want to use journalism as a way to inform others and spark productive conversations. Attending WJMC would give me the tools I need to take that passion to the next level.

The total cost of the program is $2,650 (not including travel), which is unfortunately more than I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring me closer to this amazing experience and my dream of becoming a journalist.

Thank you so much for supporting me and investing in my future. Every donation makes a difference!
