</div>

<div>I’ve been nominated to attend the <strong>Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC)</strong>, a prestigious, week-long summer program held at George Mason University in Washington, D.C. WJMC brings together high school students from across the country who share a passion for journalism, media, and communications.

<div>This incredible opportunity would allow me to:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>-Learn directly from leading journalists, media executives, and professionals in the field.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>-Experience real-world journalism environments and develop my skills.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>-Connect with other students who share my passion for storytelling and media.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Recently, I’ve discovered my love for broadcasting and political journalism. I enjoy writing stories about current events and politics, and I want to use journalism as a way to inform others and spark productive conversations. Attending WJMC would give me the tools I need to take that passion to the next level.

</div>

<div>The total cost of the program is <strong>$2,650 (not including travel), which is unfortunately more than I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.</strong> Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring me closer to this amazing experience and my dream of becoming a journalist.
