Lily has been bravely fighting cancer for seven years. Her journey began in 2019 with bone cancer in her jaw, and after years of treatments and genetic testing, she was diagnosed with Li Fraumeni Syndrome—a rare mutation that makes her more vulnerable to cancer. In October 2023, Lily received the devastating news that she has stage 4 breast cancer. Despite her strength and determination, she is now considered terminal, with her condition described as “post stage 4.”

Lily is a devoted mother to a young daughter and helps care for her two brothers, all while battling constant pain and fatigue. Her mother has had to take time off work to care for her, and Lily is currently awaiting a decision on disability benefits. With no income or insurance, she is struggling to cover her monthly mortgage, utilities, car insurance, gas, and the out-of-pocket costs for her medications, food, and clothing. The financial strain is overwhelming, and her family is doing everything they can to support her, but resources are limited.

She may never be free of cancer and hopes to live long enough to see her daughter grow up. Lily is a fighter, and I just can’t sit here and do nothing to help her.
