My name is Lilith, I’m a 22 year old Latina trans woman from Bellingham, WA♡. On Sunday, March 22nd, I was physically assaulted by a man who’s in the navy outside of the local queer bar that we had both just been inside of. I was trying to help his drunk friend who was sitting on the curb by getting him water and checking in on him . The man thanked me, but then started hurling transphobic comments at me. He then hit & punched me, pushed me and my friend, and eventually shoved me to the ground while saying hateful slurs during assault . I was left with a black eye, a cut on my face , an injury on my foot making it very difficult to walk without pain , swollen jaw, couldn’t eat bc swelling made my teeth/gums bleed when biting solid foods , bruising from being pushed over, and broken glasses. I am also now dealing with PTSD from the incident. This is not the first time I have been attacked by a man. I’m anxious to leave my house alone .♡

This funding will help support my loss of income, repair my glasses, help to meet my basic needs, and if needed go towards legal fees.
