Support Lila & Jordy to surprise UK family for Xmas!

It’s been a pretty rough year in this household! As you know, the arrival of our third child Jordan, came with a whole handful of challenges after being diagnosed with Hirschsprungs Disease. This will be lifelong for him and we hope the road ahead is somewhat easier for us all as he grows.

In recent months, Jarrod and I have decided to end our relationship and slowly separate. Another tough and painful journey to navigate, but we’re all doing the best we can! (This will be fresh news to most of you, I feel very comfortable to talk about it, but I ask you to please be mindful if little people are in earshot)

My English Nanny died in January (the same week Jordy was born) and for obvious reasons, I couldn’t attend her funeral.

This Christmas, I feel called to make the trek back across the other side of the world to spend time with my family. Many of whom haven’t met Jordan yet. I’d love to connect with my Grandad again, who, at the incredible age of 93, will be spending his first festive season without his wife.

I’m hoping to fly on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and spend 10 days in the UK. I’ll be there for my 37th birthday and my Grandad’s 94th birthday…..then home in time to celebrate Jordan turning one on 10th Jan!

The flights are currently sitting at $3,900(!) This is a huge barrier for us as we manage living on just Jarrod’s wage, and he continues to work his butt off to provide for the family.
