Support librarians Patrick & Kirsten: Fire Recovery

My brother, Patrick, my sister-in-law Kirsten, and my 11-year-old niece (and their new puppy Kota and cat, Pip) have lost their home in Altadena and everything they own in the Eaton fire. They are both long-time librarians in the LA Public Library system. Please help them recover their life and get through this hard transition. My niece was looking forward to next year, going the middle school in the area which was destroyed. My daughter and I wanted to start this GoFundMe because having seen the effects of the Boulder fire 3 years ago, we know starting over will be long and hard. These funds will be used to buy household items, pet supplies, clothing, assisting with basic needs and items that insurance will not cover. My daughter is sad that she won't be able to sleep over with her closest cousin and hopes replacing some books and toys might help .
