Children Orphanage volunteer:

In November 2024, my friends and I visited Liberty Care Centre–Children’s Home in Mlolongo, Kenya. What began as a birthday trip turned into a life-changing encounter with resilient children who radiate hope, joy, and strength despite great hardship.

We returned on April 9th, 2025, to continue supporting the center through meaningful contributions:

• Technology & Media: Donated a laptop and 55" TV.

• Kitchen Upgrade: Installed a commercial stove.

• Vocational Training: Donated 3 sewing machines and began monthly sewing classes.

• Music & CPR: Introduced music lessons and CPR training.

• Essentials: Provided clothing, hygiene items, and painted dorms.

• Farming Project: Children planted vegetables with guidance from a local farmer.

• Chicken Coop: Built a coop for 1,000 chickens, with feed and vaccines to promote sustainability.

We’re now focused on helping them build a church—a spiritual and community hub for the children—and continuing to feed 50 children using the sustainable systems already in place. Our goal is to help them thrive and become fully self-sufficient.
