Hi friends and family!

I am beyond excited to share that this summer, I have the incredible opportunity to go on a service trip to Lima, Peru with Coastline Church! I have been going to Coastline for roughly 10 years, and started my service journey at Coastline kids with the 3-5 year-olds. I loved having the opportunity to act as a role model of faith, and share what I knew about my love for God. While involved in the local Coastline community during High School, I would also travel with Coastline Dream Center to the Casa Hogar Ninos de Fe house in Rosarito, Mexico. There, I primarily hung out with the kids doing all-day activities such as spending the day at the beach or trampoline park. Simply being with these kids and speaking with them in Spanish felt like such a privilege, and I hope to experience something like that again in Peru. As a college student at the University of Wisconsin, I have become deeply passionate about being able to serve communities facing barriers and have been blessed with the opportunity to help individuals in any way I can.

During my week in Lima, Peru, I will have the opportunity to serve in ways that deeply align with my passion for outreach and social justice. I’ll be helping build homes for individuals facing poverty, creating a safe and stable foundation for families who have long struggled with housing insecurity. Providing a home not only helps fulfill basic needs, but allows people to feel safe and dignified. I will also be distributing wheelchairs to individuals in disabled communities, an effort that is especially meaningful to me as I believe mobility should never be a privilege but an inherent ability. Being able to provide something as life-changing as independence and freedom of movement is something I feel deeply called to. My service group and I will also be providing immediate medical supplies to those in need, ensuring that individuals without access to basic healthcare receive essential resources. The ability to offer relief—whether it’s through something as simple as first aid or as crucial as life-saving medication—reinforces my belief that everyone deserves care, no matter their circumstances.

While I am so eager to serve in Lima and wish I had the funds on my own, your help would be greatly appreciated! My goal is to raise $2,700, and if it’s in your heart to give, any amount would mean the world to me. More than just funding a trip, your support is helping provide homes, mobility, and essential medical care to those in need.
