Liam has had a complex medical journey and over the past 8 months it has necessitated many trips to the IWK (Sick Kids) hospital in Halifax. Many times only Sam can go and Amanda stays home with the other children. While at the hospital all meals, parking, and other expenses are not fully covered.

You may have seen that Liam had to undergo another difficult surgery today that involved numerous procedures. He will likely be in the IWK for at least the next 10 days and when he can finally go home he will be transferred by ambulance for the 4 1/2 hour drive back to Oromocto (Fredericton, NB)

Sam is a member of our Canadian Military and thankfully they have been very supportive of the family and him being with Liam.

The costs keep adding up and Amanda and Sam never ask for financial help. They always find a way to struggle through things.

I decided to do this GoFundMe to help them through this time.
