Hi, my name is Liam Waters. I’m currently a Life Scout in Troop 7 BSA, and I’m working toward the rank of Eagle Scout. One of the requirements for Eagle is to complete a service project that benefits the community.

For my project, I’ll be installing benches, building a firewood holder, and adding a gravel pit around the campfire at Campsite Daniel at the Sands Point Preserve in Sands Point, NY. I will be doing the project on the weekend of October 11th, 2025.

The campsite is in need of repairs to improve the overall experience, make it more visually appealing, and increase safety for the community members, campers, visitors, and scouts who use it.

All donations are for the benefit of the Sands Point Preserve.
