My name is Andrea. I am originally from Leiria but I have been living in Wolverhampton, UK , for the past 16 years. Leiria is still my home in my heart, and my family and many friends are there. I had already booked a trip to Portugal to visit my family, but after Storm Kristin and all the damage in Leiria, I decided to use this trip to try to help in any way I can. I am not a big organisation, just one person, but any little help I can give, I will give and with your support, together we can do more for the people and places affected in Leiria.

All the money from this campaign will be used in two ways: Donations to trusted organisations

I will donate part of the funds directly to trusted organisations such as Cáritas Diocesana de Leiria‑Fátima and Cruz Vermelha (Red Cross) in Portugal. These organisations are already on the ground supporting families affected by Storm Kristin. Buying essential goods in Portugal

I may also use part of the money to buy essential items in Portugal, such as bottled water, non‑perishable food, hygiene products, baby items, and materials to protect damaged roofs and houses. These goods will be delivered to the same trusted organisations or local collection points in Leiria. After my trip, I will post updates on this page with:

– the total amount donated to each organisation

– photos or proof of bank transfers and receipts

– photos when I deliver any goods or donations in Leiria. This way, everyone who donates can see clearly where their contribution went and how it helped people in Leiria.
