Left Jab is an anti-racist, queer friendly, *always free* and beginner oriented, Mixed Martial Arts class that currently meets twice a week in the Twin Cites, for two hour long classes led by our skilled instructors. We promote a culture of Personal and Community Self Defense and offer an introductory space for folks to to learn some basic hard skills in hand to hand combat.

Left Jab is entirely volunteer run and donation based. In the wake of Operation Metro Surge, interest in self defense in the community has understandably increased significantly and our membership has doubled. We have added an extra weekly class to help accommodate our growing numbers and are looking to further expand. As a result our rent has doubled and we will need to purchase more equipment such as Boxing gloves, Focus mitts, etc. For this reason, we are setting a fundraising goal of 10k.
