We are reaching out with hopeful hearts to share the journey of our sweet Leelen Jace, born on July 1st to Dylan and Chloey. While his arrival was unexpected in many ways, Leelen’s strength and the care he’s receiving have been nothing short of remarkable.

Leelen was born with a collapsed lung, which required him to be life-flighted to Children’s Mercy Hospital for immediate care just hours after his birth. To add to the challenge, Chloey had to undergo a C-section and was unable to be with her precious baby boy at first. The separation was tough, but thankfully all have been reunited - mom and dad have been so strong, and their little fighter Leelen is making progress every day!

While there’s still a lot of unknowns, Leelen is showing so much strength and resilience. He's making all kinds of strides in the right direction, but he just needs a little extra support to get through this.

Anyone that knows Dylan and Chloey knows they're the last people to ask for any kind of help. But this unexpected journey does come with extra financial burden with medical bills, travel expenses, and the time Dylan and Chloey need to take off work to be there for Leelen. Braylen, the best big sister, is eagerly awaiting the day her baby brother can come home and is already showing love and support for her family in every way she can. She says her brother is her favorite. ❤️
