After a long battle with tonsil cancer, our dear Lea developed an extremely weakened immune system and ended up in the hospital this summer with a case of pneumonia. She was expected to recover, but complications and a loss of oxygen caused her to have a heart attack which shocked us all.

We are so incredibly sad to share that Lea passed on July 9, 2025. We are devastated for her 5 children. The 2 youngest, Tyler (15) and Trinity (13) are still at home and we want to support them as much as possible during this sudden and awful transition. Their grandmother, Sindy (Lea’s mom), has moved into their house to become their primary caretaker for now.

We (Lea’s relatives) are setting up this GoFundMe with the sole purpose of raising money for the immediate needs of Grandma Sindy and the kids – primarily for groceries, back-to-school supplies, gas and basic daily needs in the coming months.
