Support for My Daughter’s Battle with Moya Moya Disease

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to share my daughter’s LEAH’S story and to ask for your support during this challenging time. She is a remarkable 30 year-old mother of two wonderful sons—my grandsons. The oldest is 10 years old, and the youngest, who is almost 5, is a nonverbal autistic boy who brings joy to our lives every day.

Despite her young age, my daughter works tirelessly as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) while pursuing her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). I am incredibly proud of her dedication and the strength she has shown in balancing motherhood and her career as well as school. Dailey appointments for my grandson Cyrus .

Recently, however, she received a devastating diagnosis: Moya Moya disease. This rare condition affects the blood vessels in her brain and has caused her to suffer strokes without her knowledge. The disease has now blocked two major arteries in her brain, and she needs urgent surgery to prevent further damage and complications.

This is where we need your help. The medical expenses, along with the costs of daily living and taking care of her sons during her recovery, are overwhelming.
