The Jarman's Fight to Live Again!

Hello, compassionate community!
My name is Layah Jarman, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea for assistance. As a devoted mother to my two precious children—Namarie and Trinide—I’ve faced unimaginable challenges recently. Our lives took a painful turn when we were forcibly evicted from our home last August. Now, we’re in desperate need of your support to regain stability and provide a safe haven for my little ones.

Our Story:
• How we got in our situation: In August we had an eviction blindside us. My ex-partner, who was responsible for rent payments, abruptly stopped, leaving us 12 months behind and $24,000 in debt. We received a three-day notice to vacate, and fear set in.
• Special Needs: My son, Namarie, battles Sickle Cell Disease, requiring sporadic specialized care. His health is fragile, and I can’t risk exposing him to the harsh conditions of a shelter.
• Endless Moves: Since leaving our home, we’ve shuffled between over 10 different hotels and subpar Airbnb's. Stability feels like a distant dream, so I’ve put my pride to the side and have created this gofundme for my children’s sake and my sanity. With your help I can turn things around in the next 30-60 days if not sooner!

How You Can Help:
1. Emergency Housing: Your donations will allow us to maintain a nice hotel room—a safe space for my children to rest and thrive. ($2,700) I am also trying to raise our first month’s rent and deposit for a new place to leave the hotel life in the past once and for all! ($3,600)
2. Childcare Support: I’m determined to work and rebuild our lives. Funds will cover childcare costs while taking the next 30 days or 2 paychecks to allow me to comfortably and confidently keep my family in a comfortable place. ($2,400+)
3. Preserving Our Belongings: Our storage unit, filled with my children's and my cherished belongings, is past due. A portion of your contribution will help us keep these memories for our new home. We are a month going on 2 behind, so we’ll need to catch up and pay forward 2 months. ($1,340)
4. Daily Essentials: Kids need clothes, diapers, medications, gas, food and so much more! Your generosity will ensure our day-to-day needs are met. ($1500)

Why Donate?
• Every dollar counts: Whether it’s a small amount or more, your contribution will help us get one step closer to our goal.
• Be part of our journey: Join me as I fight to create a stable, loving environment for Namarie and Trinide and a successful recovery.
• Blessings in return: Your kindness will forever resonate in our hearts. I will share your contribution publicly to make sure you are aware of how grateful we are for your generosity, from my family to yours, thank you for considering our plea. Let’s stand together during these trying times. Your support will make a world of difference for my children, Namarie, and Trinide as well as myself.
Stay blessed and strong!
