Support Lawson's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Lawson. I'm 17 years old and a high school graduate of NeoCity Academy. I have been in scouting since the 4th grade and a member of Troop 800 in Kissimmee, Florida. I'm currently a Life Scout working on my Eagle Project. My Eagle Scout project is to build a closet that will house hygiene kits for the students of Deerwood Elementary School. I will start them off with 100 hygiene kits that will include toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and soap per kit. According to the data provided by the Florida Department of Education, Deerwood Elementary is 100% economically disadvantaged, will a lot of families in transition. That being said, of these hygiene kits will provide the students at Deerwood Elementary School to have access to basic hygiene products without cost, thereby helping relieve some financial stress on impoverished families in the area. The hygiene kits can improve their physical and mental health, confidence, and physical appearance. Unfortunately, schools typically do not have the means to provide these basic necessities. This project will help do that for the students.
