Hi everyone,
As I prepare for my Bat Mitzvah, I wanted my mitzvah project to come from a place that truly means something to me.
The Levy Family Early Childhood Center at Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel (LFECC) is where my Jewish journey began. It’s where I made my first friends, learned my first Hebrew songs, celebrated Shabbat, and built the foundation of who I am today. The teachers and staff created a warm, loving environment that helped shape my confidence, kindness, and love for our community.
For my mitzvah project, I am raising funds to give back to LFECC so they can continue providing a nurturing, joyful space for the next generation of children. In addition to volunteering my time at the school, I am hosting a challah bake at my home to bring people together and raise money for this special place.
Every donation — big or small — will directly support the children, classrooms, and programs at LFECC.
Thank you for helping me turn my Bat Mitzvah into something that makes a difference. I am so grateful for your support and for the community that helped raise me.
With love,
Lauren
