This fundraiser has been started in memory of Lauren Cartier Thompson. Lauren recently lost a 15 month battle with Melanoma.

To all who knew her, Lauren was kind, patient, and quick to smile. She had a boisterous (inherited) laugh that brought joy to all she encountered. Her practicality and non-sentimentality (no crying!) in her approach to fighting cancer and all facets of her life means we will keep this short and sweet.

One of the most defining things about Lauren was her passion for teaching first grade. She spent over 15 years in education and loved helping children meet their potential. Everyone at St. Thomas loved Lauren and she loved them.

It was the combination of Lauren's positive attitude and sincere demeanor that changed the lives of her students, friends, and, most importantly, her children.

Our community is gathering in support of Chase, Remy, and Cosette Thompson as they navigate life without Lauren. She wanted her kids to stay in their loving school community, so all proceeds will go towards Remy and Coco's education.
