Support Lauren in being with her family in Aus in April!

Hi everyone

I wasn’t going go to my mum‘s 70th celebration because I was just there in January but as you know family is very important and I don’t get to see them very often because they’re all the way over In Australia.

This is an extra special because mum has been going through chemo, we don’t know the full results of this yet, AND she’s only gonna turn 70 once and 50 of her closest friends and family are gonna be at the celebration and I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Thank goodness one of my best friends works for British Airways and can get me his friends and family discount-so the ticket to Australia is only gonna cost me £500 instead of £1200- £1500.

£500 is still a push at the moment - especially because I’m also missing out on a week of work.

A good friend of mine encouraged me to do a fundraiser and it felt like a good idea.

Any extra money raised goes to helping my mum pay some pretty huge bills xx

I still have quite a few hard copies of the jazz duo album I made last year with Curtis Volp - so if you’d like one - I’d be more than happy to send you one for your kind donation.

If you’re in London, and want to support me in another way, you could come to my gig on the 21st of April at the 606 club in Chelsea, and the money I make there will go towards this trip too. Plus - it’ll just be a beautiful evening of music.
