Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out today on behalf of two of my dearest friends, Conor and Lauren Tomlinson, who are walking through one of the most beautiful and faith-stretching seasons of their lives.
By God’s grace, they are expecting identical triplet girls, a true once in a lifetime miracle. This news has filled their hearts (and all of ours) with so much joy, wonder, and a deep sense that God is writing a very special story for their family.
But as is often the case with God-sized miracles, this blessing comes with real and heavy challenges. Carrying triplets is considered a high-risk pregnancy, and Lauren & Conor have already had to face frequent doctor visits, ongoing monitoring, and tough conversations about what lies ahead. There’s a very real possibility of early delivery and an extended NICU stay, and the mounting medical costs, specialized care, and practical needs for three newborns have quickly added up.
Through it all, Conor and Lauren have remained steady, walking forward with courage, clinging to prayer, and trusting that the Lord is holding every detail in His hands.
I know they would never ask for help on their own as they are generous, humble, and always the first to show up for others. So I felt led to create this GoFundMe on their behalf, believing that the body of Christ can come together to bless them abundantly in this season of need.
If you feel led, please consider donating, sharing, or simply lifting them up in prayer. Your support will help ease the burden so they can focus on what matters most: staying healthy, leaning on God’s strength, and welcoming these sweet girls into the world with peace and provision.
As you can imagine, preparing for one baby takes planning preparing for three at once takes a village. Here’s just a glimpse into what the Tomlinson's are facing financially in the first year alone:
Diapers & Wipes – $432/month
With three newborns, they’ll go through over 900 diapers a month, totaling more than $5,000 a year just in diapers and wipes.
Formula & Baby Food – $600–$900/month
Feeding three little ones adds up quickly. Formula costs alone can reach up to $10,000 a year, not including the transition to baby food later on.
Transportation – $32,000
To safely transport three car seats and all the gear that comes with them, they’ll need to upgrade to a reliable, triplet-friendly minivan.
Medical Costs – $60,000–$100,000
With a high-risk pregnancy and the strong likelihood of NICU time, their out-of-pocket medical expenses could reach six figures. This includes specialized care, emergency visits, and follow-up support for all three babies.
Essential Baby Gear & Equipment – $12,000–$15,000
This includes:
3 car seats
Triple stroller
3 cribs, bassinets, mattresses & bedding
High chairs, baby swings, swaddles, clothing, bottles, sound machines, play mats, and more
Specialized items like a Wonderfold wagon, bottle washer, bottle warmers, formula kettle, and water filtration system (to prep multiple bottles daily, safely and efficiently)
Meal Support – $3,000
A meal train or meal delivery service during the early postpartum months will be essential so they can focus on healing and bonding with the babies.
Part-Time NICU Nurse Support – $10,000
Once the girls are home, they may need on-and-off help from a NICU-trained nurse to ensure safety, feeding, and round-the-clock care in those first overwhelming months.
Let’s surround this family with prayer, encouragement, and generosity, knowing that the same God who brought them this miracle will be faithful to sustain them through every step.
With love and gratitude,
Abbey Smith
