Join Laura's Mission to Heal Complex Trauma

Hello, my name is Laura Winget. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I am part of a small group of survivors of ritual abuse that came together originally to help each other heal and who have now made it our mission to help others heal from any trauma, no matter how complex.

My Story

All of us in our group have experienced abuse that many people think cannot be healed.  Personally I had always known something was wrong, but I just assumed there was something wrong with me. For some universal reason I was a horrible human being and had to hide that from everyone else.  My memory had been wiped, so I never thought to question why I felt that way.

Even so, a small part of me knew I needed help. I tried just about every kind of therapy there is and finally gave up. None of it was touching the pain I felt.

In 2018 I started having physical memories come back. I still did not know what was happening, so the triggers and sensations seemed very random: I began to get very dizzy when I walked into or left a room, I began having panic attacks when I was in public - I felt that sudden violent, unpredictable death could come at anytime out of nowhere. I had an official diagnosis of disassociative disorder not otherwise specified (DDNOS) and programmed, complex PTSD, but didn't know what to do with that.

In 2019 and 2020 I began to get the images and thoughts that went with the physical memories. I couldn't do the simplest activities of daily living like cooking, eating or showering without hideous and incapacitating images flooding me.

By the end of 2020 I finally had realized that these were actual memories from cult abuse, but even knowing that and talking about it didn't help. I was drinking a fifth of vodka every night to get any rest and I got to the point where I was too scared to talk to other people or look in their eyes. I thought my situation was hopeless. I truly felt hopeless.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel

Then I met Subrina, one of the other members of our group, and she was able to pull me out of that personal disassociated hell. She had and has a box of tools that we have all learned, that are always evolving and they work.

I now have the freedom and the clarity to feel how much compassion I have for myself and others. How much I love hearing people's stories, how precious we all are. I am a completely different human being. I can see joy and feel peace in the now, and have a sense of personal power and worth I never thought possible. Now I want to be there to pull someone else out of their own personal hell, someone else who can't see a way out.

It Takes a Village

Subrina and I later met the other members of our small group and we continue to use and expand this wide range of tools that really resolve programmed complex PTSD as well as other less complicated trauma. We use them to find our way back to ourselves, our authentic nature and we want to share it.

My story and struggles are not so different from other survivors. We have all experienced the hurdles of deep depression, deep grief, deep rage, deep powerlessness, deep self-loathing, deep incapacitation from memories. We are overcoming these through our intention and dedication to healing, by using the tools and supporting each other.

I am astonished at the number of people who have come forward with similar stories and pain, who need help and for whom traditional therapy and even the newer healing modalities have not been able to reach. And this is when I remember Subrina saying "It takes a village to heal from this." and we realized we need help from the community.

Thank you!

Any money donated would go to training more coaches so that more help can be provided, and offering people sessions that they can afford, including free if needed, and setting up a help line/Email for those in crisis.

Training cost for 4 people $2500
Average session price: $120
Crisis Line/Email: $15/hour

If you are unable to donate at this time, just sharing this will also mean the world to us.

Please know any donation amount is greatly appreciated and none is too small. With your help, we will be able to dedicate our time to training all who are interested, and will be able to give affordable sessions to those who need help but can't pay.

The Golden Part

These tools are self-applicable: once you learn to apply them to yourself and others, the more interdependent and less dependent you become on other coaches. Which means whether you're a survivor or coach or both, you're expanding the number of people who can spread the healing. We one day hope to be just one of many global healing centers that can offer retreats and workshops. Your help can get us there!
