Hello and thanks for reading :) I’m Laura Anne and I need community help making a really big dream come true. Since losing Stevie in 2023, I have been desperate to get out of Portland. Her and I were going to leave together and when she passed, my mental health was in shambles and I wasn’t able to really work or do anything to move forward with my life. In the last 6 months, I have been grateful to experience some stability and am looking toward the future once again.

Recently, an opportunity to move into a stable, affordable house in a different city was given to me. I have to act quickly, and I’m not able to get the money I need together myself in the short time frame. I also don’t have credit or family money I can access. I don’t want to share too many details until it happens but it’s a place where I could find work and where I have some community and is an exciting dream of mine.

This is important to me: if I end up not going, everyone gets their donation back!!!

This amount will help me out a deposit/first/last month’s rent, another month of rent, and money to rent a van and eat and stuff for a few weeks. Mostly this is to help me secure good housing!!
