This GoFundMe is on behalf of Latisha B. and her two grandchildren. Latisha is a Black disabled grandmother living in assisted housing in Minnesota with her grandkids. She constantly struggles with getting her basic needs met, and times are especially hard for her with the holidays.

Her grandkids are very young and can't remember a Christmas where they've had a tree. She's tried her best to give them the feeling of Christmas joy by baking cookies with them but she still needs groceries, decorations and wants to get each kid at least three Christmas gifts. The kids are so desperate for a tree that they've been refusing to leave their neighbors' apartment because they have a tree and have been crying each night they have to get back to their apartment.

Due to personal family issues, Latisha doesn't receive much support from her relatives. She has to take care of the kids by herself, often at the expense of her own wellbeing and health. Her disability includes chronic pain, which she can only temporarily manage with medication that costs between $75-$100 for a week's dosage.

She was recently hospitalized for a stress-induced panic attack, a concerning sign that she deals with so much by herself. Please consider alleviating some of Latisha's stress by sponsoring the Brooks' Christmas this year.

Latisha is asking for $75 for a Christmas tree, $300 for gifts, $150 for groceries, another $300 for her phone bill, which she hasn't paid yet because she needed to pay for the kids' winter gear.

As for payments, Latisha's only payment card is a PayPal card, and GoFundMe doesn't offer connections to PayPal. Due to this, donations will be routed through me, Cesaire Talom's, account from which I'll then transfer to her. I will post screenshots of transferring the money to Latisha for confirmation.
