Today, I was sitting outside by my apartment and noticed a tarp filled with belongings in the brush. I saw a young man walk up to the items and sit down with his things. I went up to him and spoke to him. I asked him if he needed money or anything else that could help him. I ran home to grab some things for him, then sat down with him and talked to him about his story. His name is Langston, 20 years old. He was just kicked out of his parents' house three days ago and is trying to find a job to support himself and get out of this situation. He has no nearby friends or family to go to. He was laid off his job a while ago and has not been able to find a job since then. He has no phone for employers to call him back and has no tent to live in, only a tarp with a few effects.

I am here to ask the community to help this young man at least get a phone with a plan for employers to reach him, a charging bank to help him stay charged, and possibly a tent for him to sleep in with maybe some bedding and lights. Anything helps.
