Support for My Dad's Recovery

On September 26th, my dad went through one of the most terrifying nights of our lives. He suffered multiple heart attacks and eventually went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the medical team, he was revived and had a stent placed to stabilize his condition. So many things had to go right that night for him to still be here with us.

Since then, he’s shown incredible strength and resilience, no surprise to those who know him. We are so grateful to have him home now and on the road to recovery.

However, recovery comes with its own challenges. As a self-employed finish carpenter, my dad doesn’t have access to unemployment benefits, and being out of work means a significant financial strain especially with medical bills beginning to pile up.

He’s the kind of person who would never ask for help, but would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Many friends and family have reached out asking how they can support him. This fundraiser is a way to do just that.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to helping him cover medical expenses and ease the burden of lost income during his recovery.
