Hi, my name is Landon Hicks, and I am a Life Scout working toward the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Project, I am building three 8-foot picnic tables and two raised flower beds for the Cobb County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Center.

During a recent renovation, the center lost its outdoor break area, leaving staff with no place to take breaks, eat lunch, or recharge, especially during long election days when they work extended hours and often only have a 20-minute lunch break. My project will create a comfortable and welcoming outdoor space with sturdy picnic tables, a clean paver base, and raised garden beds to help restore a much-needed break area for the hardworking staff who help support our community and elections.

Your donation will help cover the cost of:

Lumber and hardware for three picnic tables

Concrete pavers for stable, low-maintenance seating areas

Soil and materials for two raised flower beds

Tools, safety equipment, and project supplies

My fundraising goal is $1,400, which will allow me to purchase all materials and complete the project successfully. Any amount — big or small — makes a difference and gets me closer to making this project a reality.

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to Eagle Scout and for helping improve a space that will serve our community for years to come!
