Hi, this is Lamuh, and recently my mom is diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. The scan shows a large tumor in her left lung that has already spread to her lymph nodes, right lung, and bones. This has caused part of her lung to collapse and is beginning to affect her breathing.

She has began the radiation treatments to help ease her symptoms and improve her comfort. The doctors also said the cancer in her bones could eventually cause paralysis in her lower body.

We’ve decided to take my mom to Thailand for better treatment, given the situation in our country’s ongoing civil war. However, the emergency medical costs there are quite high, and our family is struggling financially right now. Because of the political situation and my university studies, I’m unable to return home to be with my mom, even if something sudden happens. If she’s able to move to Thailand for treatment, that would make things much safer and more manageable for us.

According to Psalm 23, Even in this valley, we hold tightly to God’s promises. We will be still and know that He is God. He is greater than cancer, and we’re trusting Him for healing, strength, and peace through every step.
