Lamont runs a small hot dog business called Stormi’s, named after his daughter. He told me how he drives all the way from Orlando to Tampa every single day because this is the only Lowe’s that allows him to set up his stand. That alone shows his dedication. Hours on the road just for a chance to serve people with a smile and make an honest living. Most people would not do that, but Lamont does it with no complaints, no excuses, and nothing but gratitude.

As we kept talking, he shared more of his story. He is from Garden City, New York, where he worked with nonprofits and children’s charities. He has always been about helping others and spreading positivity, even when things were not easy for him. That is what hit me most. He is the kind of person who gives so much to everyone around him and never asks for anything in return.

Lamont has big dreams. He wants to take Stormi’s nationwide. He talks about being on Shark Tank one day. He wants to see Stormi’s hot dogs in arenas and stadiums all over the country. And when you hear him talk about it, you believe him. He dreams not just for himself, but for his daughter, for his family, and for the people he serves every day.

Every dollar goes directly to him for better equipment, signage, supplies, and anything else he needs to move forward.
