On August 20th, 2025, our family’s world changed in an instant. My husband, Lalo (Eduardo Ibarra), suffered a devastating fall through a skylight while working on a roof, plummeting two to three stories. He broke his femur, hip, and clavicle, and suffered serious head lacerations. Lalo had surgery on his femur, hip, and clavicle, and is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery, both physically and mentally. If his hip surgery isn’t successful, he may need a full hip replacement. During this time, both Lalo and I will be unable to work for weeks or even months as we focus on his healing and caring for our family.

We have three daughters at home who adore their dad. Lalo is the heart of our family. He never misses a game, is his kids’ number one fan, and loves coaching t-ball for our youngest. He’s an amazing husband, father, son, uncle, and friend, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Now, we’re facing unknown medical expenses, loss of income, and the need for extensive therapy. We’re reaching out for support to help us cover these costs and keep our family afloat while Lalo recovers.
