Support Lainie's 7th Time Fighting Cancer
Donation protected
If you’ve met Lainie, you already know how special she is. She’s kind, funny, and fiercely resilient—even in the face of unimaginable challenges. Right now, she’s in the middle of her seventh cancer diagnosis, glioblastoma, and, true to form, she’s facing it with the same strength and positivity she always has.
Since she was 18 months old, Lainie has bravely battled breast cancer, thyroid cancer, melanoma, sarcoma, adrenal carcinoma (twice), and non-smoker’s lung cancer. And through it all, she’s dedicated her career to support others affected by cancer, raising millions through her work with the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
After a recurrence late last year, Lainie underwent her second brain surgery and is currently receiving 25 rounds of radiation at MD Anderson in Houston. The road ahead includes more treatment, frequent travel for scans, and ongoing follow-ups for her previous diagnoses.
Lainie now needs 24/7 care. Her husband JJ—her best friend and unwavering caregiver—was laid off a few months after her diagnosis and has been doing everything he can to support her while freelancing and looking for full-time work.
They’ve always been the people who show up for others, and they’ve never been ones to ask for help. So we’re asking for them.
We’re raising funds to help with the mounting costs of treatment, travel, daily care, and day-to-day living expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will help lighten the load and give them space to focus on what really matters: healing, rest, and time together.
If you’re able to contribute or share this, it would mean the world to all of us.
