Support Kylie Wood during her cancer treatments

Hi all, my name is Natasha Firebrace and Kylie is my beautiful sister in law. As a family, we have decided to ask for help in supporting Kylie during this time.

Whether you know Kylie from, childhood, Griffith or Gilgandra, behind the DJ decks, on the footy field, or operating a grader with pride, one thing’s always been clear, Kylie is all about her family. Her husband Woody, kids Ian and Isla and daughter in law Sara too, and the absolute light of her life her grandson Joeboy, who made her a proud Ninni.

Late last year, Kylie was diagnosed with cancer.

While life keeps moving for everyone else, hers has changed dramatically. She's been traveling back and forth to Dubbo for treatment and, due to the toll it’s taken on her health, has been unable to work.

Woody has stepped up as her rock, working when he can, but also taking time off to be by her side. Recently, they received more heartbreaking news, the cancer has spread.

Kylie is a fighter through and through. Her strength and spirit is an inspiration to all of us.

As her family, we want to do something ..anything.. to support them. That’s why we’re asking for help. The bills don’t stop, even when life does. Every little bit can help ease the financial pressure, allowing Woody to be with Kylie as she continues her treatment and recovery.

Woody and Kylie are the first people to offer help when others are in need, but never the ones to ask for it themselves.
