Support Kylie and Bonnie's New Beginning

Donation protected
I'm Miranda, Kylie and Bonnie's (wheelchair dog) friend of many years and am starting this fundraiser for them after a tough past couple months, they deserve our support right now!

Kylie Vincent is a comedian, artist, and activist has been living on the road for the past two years out of their mini van (her name is Pamela VanDerson), while she and Bonnie grace different cities with their dedication to comedy for survivors, queer people, and survivors of PTSD.

Kylie rescued Bonnie in 2020 when she was found hit by a car in Mexico as a stray at only 8 months old. The past 5 years together, they are attached at the hip, Bonnie coming around the world with her mamma to every gig and every stop along the way!

Kylie has been on her own since she was 17 and moved to New York City with practically nothing to persue stand-up comedy. They have been doing full time comedy the last two years to put everything into their one person shows in hopes that it finds survivors who have never found comedy representing these types of stories.

This past March in 2025, Kylie was staying with friends in Brooklyn for gigs and started to get very ill. They had to cancel gigs and was bed ridden and unable to keep food or water down which eventually lead them to the NYC ER. At the ER, they gave her medication for their nausea and told them it was just a stomach virus.

A few weeks later, still sick and unable to do much, Kylie had to fly to LA with Bonnie to go back to the van and do their solo show in Los Angeles.
After landing, the illness persisted and on April 8th, the day after Kylie's 25th birthday, they went back to the ER in LA. It was there when they found out they were pregnant and were experiencing Hyperemesis gravidarum (severe sickness that some women experience the entire pregnancy).

Kylie's low income from comedy, her care for their disabled dog, their home being a compact van, and the person who got her pregnant not being around, did not want and was not ready to take the pregnancy to full term. Luckily, after years of being in the south from doing tours, we were very glad that they were in California to get the proper medical care and abortion access.

On April 9th, Kylie went to Planned Parenthood and was informed that they were 7 weeks pregnant. They then terminated the pregnancy and had to deal with the excruciating physical pain of the abortion process on top of the emotional toll it took as a single person living out of a van with their disabled dog.

Throughout this process, Kylie has been an advocate for abortion rights and healthcare, even though it's been quite the emotional burden.

As summer comes around in Southern California and a whole heap of emotional and physical pain that Kylie has gone through on top of triggering their chronic PTSD, it became a priority to find them housing.

With the help of their sweet friends cosigning with the ridiculous housing guidelines it takes in America for someone to get approved, they were able to get a studio apartment to move into May 1st in Los Angeles with their sweet Bonnie girl.

As Kylie moves into this new phase of their life, we want to make sure they have enough money for food, a bed at the new place, trauma care, etc. as this year has thrown them an unimaginable amount of curve balls that they so strongly have persisted through.

Anyone who knows Kylie personally or through their creative work, knows how big their heart is and their undeniable strength from taking care of herself from such a young age, while continuing to fight for voices to be heard in comedy. Let's give Bonnie and Kylie the most support while they settle into this new reality.
