Help Me Fight Potential Eviction

Update 6/8/25:

I’ve paid my landlord back more than half of what I owe, and no actions have been taken against me regarding eviction as of this writing. I could still use some help to push me over the cliff if you can. I appreciate all of you who have donated or shared or shown support in one way or another. :)

Hey all you good people,

I’ve been recovering from bronchitis, and I’m back on my feet physically, but my landlord texted me this morning with a notice to pay my back rent (I’m 2 months behind still) or vacate my apartment. I have a plan to get caught up with my back rent, but given the very short timeline I have to potentially avoided getting sued for eviction, I need some help. I’m at eviction’s doorstep, and frankly I’m a little worried. Any help would be appreciated, even if it’s a small dollar amount or spreading the word.

hey everyone,

still catching up and fighting the good fight. Unfortunately, I’m still behind, and this week I got undercut by a cold. And, me not being 22 anymore, I can’t do 10 hour days sick as a dog anymore. So I could use some extra help here. I know everyone is going through rough times, but if you could donate some $ my way, every little bit helps and I would be so grateful.

Update 2/10/25:

so the rent and deposit was for LAST month’s rent, meaning I still owe February’s rent and I essentially have to pay 2 months rent this month just to break even in that department. I still need to try to raise $ to fix my car, I’m still playing catch up with other bills, and I have debt collectors hounding me. I’ve sold everything I can part with, I’ve been working 6-7 day weeks and I’m just exhausted. Any additional help would be appreciated. Thanks and love to you all.

update 1/28/25:

deposit has been paid, and I start moving in this weekend.

Unfortunately, I am still very much in the weeds when it comes to bills and other living expenses. And I probably won’t be able to work a ton this weekend because I’m gonna be moving into my new place, so I can still use some help. Much love and appreciation!!!!

I got an extension to pay my deposit/first months rent until the 25th. Unfortunately, my car also decided to crap out on me, so I could still use some help, even if it’s just sharing this. Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone.

I have received notice that I need to vacate my current place of residence by the end of January. While I have secured another place to live, I unfortunately was unprepared financially for this to happen. Therefore, I need to raise money to help me burden the cost of me coming up with the $$$ I need for my deposit and first months rent in the next couple of weeks. I need to come up with $1670. I plan to make plenty of that myself, as I’ll be working a lot and selling some stuff, but given the tight deadline, I could use some help from all of you fine people. So here I am passing the (figurative) hat around. Any amount helps and would be super appreciated. I will also pay you back/pay it forward if you would like once I’m settled.
