Help Kyle Barnes Heal and Support His Family

My husband, Kyle Barnes, is only 38 years old and recently underwent open heart surgery after being diagnosed with two aortic aneurysms. During the procedure, his aortic root was replaced and he received a mechanical aortic valve. While the surgery went well, Kyle now faces a long and challenging road to recovery. He will be out of work until at least August 1st, and as a one-income family, this has put us in a difficult position.

Kyle has always been the provider for our family, allowing me to stay home and care for our two children. He is a devoted father and husband, and his strength and dedication have always been the foundation of our home. Now, as he recovers, he needs constant care and cannot be left alone for at least the next six weeks. I am doing my best to find work to help support us, but it has been difficult to balance job searching with Kyle’s care needs and our children’s routines.
