Help My Mom Fight for Custody of My Younger Siblings

Hi everyone,

My name is Abagaile and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredible mom, Krystal. She's a single mother who has always put her kids first, working tirelessly to provide for us and give us a stable home. Right now, she's facing the toughest fight of her life, and she desperately needs your help.

My younger siblings, Taylor, Asher, Zander, and Maggie, ages 16, 14, 12, and 8, are currently in a very difficult and emotionally damaging situation with their father. For years, he has exhibited unstable, violent, and mentally abusive behavior, creating a toxic environment that is deeply impacting their well-being. This isn't just about arguments; it's about a pattern of emotional manipulation, control, and psychological distress that is seriously harming my siblings.

My mom has tried everything she can to shield them, but the situation has reached a critical point where she knows she has to take legal action to protect them. She needs to hire a lawyer to fight for full custody, to ensure they are safe and can grow up in a stable, healthy environment, free from the constant emotional turmoil they're currently experiencing.

The problem is, legal battles are incredibly expensive. My mom works incredibly hard, but the cost of retaining a lawyer, court fees, and potential expert testimonies is far beyond what she can manage on her own. She's already stretched thin, and this added financial burden is overwhelming. Consultations alone have cost her between $200-350 per hour and she's being told that the cost of hiring an attorney for this will range upwards of $10,000. Their father has already hired an attorney and is at an advantage because he makes more money and currently has no child expenses since my siblings have been residing with my mother full-time for the last two month with no financial support from him.

That's why I'm starting this GoFundMe. We're trying to raise $7,500 to cover the initial legal fees, retainers, and associated court costs. Every dollar raised will go directly towards securing legal representation for my mom, giving her the best possible chance to win this fight for my siblings' future.

My mom is a so strong and has been through so much already and she can't do this alone. My siblings deserve to grow up without fear, and they deserve a peaceful, loving home.
