<div>At the end of 2025, Kristi received some unexpected and life-changing news — she was diagnosed with advanced coronary artery disease. This means she needs surgery, and unfortunately a significant portion of the cost will be out of pocket. On top of that, she’ll be placed on light duty and out of work for a while as she recovers.

She works tirelessly in the rescue field and has dedicated so much of her time, energy, and heart to helping others — especially her rescue pups, who rely on her every single day.
